Now, the reason I wrote this is because, being a Muslim you will always have to obey the rules set by ALLAH (S.W.T)…….

GTA4 has just been released…..it is a great game and has received a world record and had become the best reviewed game of all time……

Briefing: well, there’s little to be hated in this game by the critical viewpoint….but as a muslim how can you not feel guilty by the negative aspect of the game …….. the main idea of fun in the game is giving the player a lot of options to explore Liberty City(the game world)…this range to simply driving around the huge man-crafted environment or just sitting at your apartment and waching shows on tv and you can even surf the in game internet or go bowling…heck you can even go online & play with others……

The problem: Like I had stated, the game let’s you do much of everything you can do in real life….this however, include killing people, driving on/into citizen and drunk driving……the question is, is it HALAL for a Muslim to play the
game??????..yes, in my view, as long as you do all of your prayers and not letting it get the best of you…

Minor conclusion:I never played the game…but the last installment is my favourite piece of entertainment of all time…and I will likely buy this one….

But can someone give me the islamic view on this type of game and VIDEO GAMING in generaL…..
